Scholarship: Schultz-Werba Math Schp

Information: The Schultz-Werba Endowed Scholarship Fund in Mathematics was established in 2009 by Timothy C. Schultz of Kingwood, Texas in honor of his family.

Timothy Schultz was raised in both Ohio and Texas. His love for numbers began with his grandfather and was cultivated by his parents. He received a B.S. degree in mathematics from Baylor University in 1980. Although he does not currently work in mathematics, he believes its foundation in rigorous thinking and problem solving has served him well in his work.

The Schultz-Werba Endowed Scholarship is a tribute to Timothy's grandfather, Ralph E. Werba, and his parents, Carl and Grace Schultz.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Mathematics majors from Ohio.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on merit.
