Scholarship:	ES Fentress Scholarship
Information:	The E. S. Fentress Foundation Scholarship was established in 1969 by Mr. H. M. Fentress of Waco, Texas in memory of his father, Mr. E. S. Fentress. Mr. E. S.Fentress was the founder of Newspaper, Inc. of Waco, Texas which published, among others, the Waco Times Herald (now known as the Waco Tribune-Herald).
Comments:	Recipient must be a Texas resident.
Criteria:	For Journalism majors who are a junior or senior.
Minimum GPA:	The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
Need/Merit:	Based on merit.
