Scholarship:	Harry & Frances Provence Schp
Information:	The Harry and Frances Provence Journalism Scholarship was established in 1979 by the late Mr. Harry Provence of Waco, Texas to assist deserving young students with their college expenses. Mr. Provence and his late wife Frances were both graduates of Baylor's Journalism Department in 1937 and were editors of the Baylor Line magazine for 10 years. Mr. Provence was also editor of the Waco Tribune-Herald.
Criteria:	For Undergraduate Journalism majors.
Minimum GPA:	The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
Need/Merit:	Based on merit.
