Scholarship: CG & Cornelia Smith Schp

Information: The Cornelia M. Smith Scholarship was established in 1985 to assist students majoring in biology. Dr. Cornelia M. Smith had a long and distinguished career at Baylor starting in the 1930's when opportunities for women outside traditional roles were very limited. Dr. Smith influenced the lives of literally thousands of students at Baylor, many of whom have become leaders in medicine and science. Dr. Smith remained a fixture on the Baylor campus well after her retirement and until her death at the age of 102.

Criteria:  For graduate Biology majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
