Scholarship: Helen L McCullough Schp

Information: The Helen Louise McCullough Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1993 by the School of Social Work and Gerontology through the generosity of the Ralph H. and Ruth J. McCullough Foundation of Houston, Texas in memory of Helen Louise McCullough. The late Ms. McCullough worked for the Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board as a missionary until 1940. She was also active with the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention until her retirement in 1958. Preference for this scholarship is given to worthy senior and junior level students pursuing careers as social workers.

Comments: Recipients must have completed at least 6 hours in the Social Work program.

Criteria:  For Social Work majors who are a junior or senior.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
