Scholarship: Lloyd O Russell Scholarship

Information: The Lloyd O. Russell Memorial Scholarship was established in 1968 by the Baylor University Association of Health, Physical Education and Recreation in memory of Dr. Lloyd O. Russell. The association wanted to show their appreciation to Dr. Russell for his service as chairman of the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

Comments: Recipients must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA in HPER courses. Also, must have attended Baylor University at least 2 years prior to receiving scholarship.

Criteria:  For Health / P E / Recreation majors who are a junior or senior.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on merit.
