Scholarship:	WR Dawson & Mary Wood Schp
Information:	The W. Read and Mary Wood Dawson Scholarship was established in memory of W. Read and Mary Wood Dawson in December 1995. Dr. Read Dawson and his wife Mary Wood Dawson were beloved members of the Waco and Baylor communities. Upon their death, and through their estate, significant gifts were made to Baylor University to benefit graduate students studying in the School of Education for a career in educational administration. Memorial gifts from many friends have also been added to the scholarship fund. Dr. Dawson taught in the School of Education and Mrs. Dawson taught in the Waco, Texas public schools.
Criteria:	For graduate students in the School of Education.
Minimum GPA:	The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
Need/Merit:	Based on need and merit.
