Scholarship: Andrea Dunn-Theilengerdes Schp

Information: The Andrea Dunn-Theilengerdes Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2003 by her loving husband, Jason T. Theilengerdes. This scholarship is in memory of Andrea who went to be with her Lord on October 11, 2002. Andrea graduated from Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts in social work in 1989. While at Baylor, Andrea was a member of Alpha Phi Omega. She worked for several years at Child Protective Services. Until her death, she worked for the Waco Center for Youth and taught part-time at Baylor in the field seminar area. She was known in the School of Social Work as a bright and dedicated social worker. Jason, Andrea's husband, received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 1990 from Baylor. While at Baylor, Jason was a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, Baylor Ambassadors, and Gamma Beta Phi.

Criteria:  For Social Work majors who are a junior or senior.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
