Scholarship: Hannah M Gilliland Schp

Information: The Hannah Marie Gilliland Memorial Scholarship in Education was established in 2003 by Hannah's family of San Antonio, Texas. Hannah, who passed away on November 26, 2003, was the daughter of Kip and Mary Beth Gilliland. Hannah was a native of San Antonio and a graduate of Alamo Heights High School. In spite of her battle with brain cancer, Hannah received her B.S.Ed. degree from Baylor in 2003. While attending Baylor, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. Hannah's dream was to teach children and she began this work at St. Luke's Episcopal School in September 2003.

Comments: Recipients must be pursuing a teaching career.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Education.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
