Scholarship: James Vardaman History Schp

Information: The Dr. James W. Vardaman Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 by Holt and Debbie Getterman of Waco, TX to honor Dr. James W. Vardaman, Professor Emeritus of History and Master Teacher at Baylor University. Dr. Vardaman received a B.A. degree from Baylor in 1951, an M.A. degree from the University of Minnesota at Crookston in 1952, and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1957.

Comments: Fund is restricted to students who participate in an international studies abroad program.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate History majors.

Minimum GPA: 3.50

Need/Merit: Based on merit.
