Scholarship: David W Eldridge Scholarship

Information: The David W. Eldridge Scholarship Fund was established in 2002 by the family of Dr. Robert Larry Meek of Odessa, Texas to honor Dr. Eldridge for his life-long friendship and dedication to his students. The scholarship also serves as a memorial to the late Linda Cohorn Meek. This endowed scholarship fund provides assistance to students majoring in biology and who are pursuing careers in the health profession.

Comments: For Undergraduate Biology majors and must have a concentration in pre-healthcare with the potential to contribute to healthcare. Note: Do not use the Biology Criteria link below as it is outdated. Use this link instead.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Biology majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
