Scholarship: Jack Terrell Family Schp

Information: The Jack Terrell Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Church Music was established in 2007 by Beverly Terrell of Houston, Texas in loving memory of her husband, Walter Jackson (Jack) Terrell. Jack Terrell graduated from Texas Tech University in 1948 and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1950. Encouraging and directing youth in the area of Christian music has always been a primary focus of the Jack Terrell family, and this scholarship is established for this purpose.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Church Music majors in the School of Music.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need.
