Scholarship: Harold & Janice Havard Schp

Information: The Drs. Harold W. and Janice Goolsby Havard Endowed Scholarship Fund in the School of Education was established in 2007 by Harold W. and Janice Goolsby of Plano, Texas. Dr. Harold Havard received B.A., M.S.Ed., and Ed.D. degrees from Baylor University in 1958, 1961, and 1970, respectively. Dr. Janice Goolsby Havard received a B.A., M.S., and Ed.D. degrees from Baylor in 1958, 1961, and 1974, respectively. This endowed scholarship fund assists deserving students who are enrolled in the School of Education majoring in elementary education.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Elementary Education majors in the School of Education.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need.
