Scholarship: Caitlin Creed Social Work Schp

Information: The Caitlin Elizabeth Creed Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 by J. Bradley and Kathy Harton Creed of Homewood, Alabama in loving memory of their daughter, Caitlin Elizabeth Creed. Caitlin Creed found her place at Baylor and enjoyed a rewarding freshman year. She willed herself to achieve high marks her first year at Baylor where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority and Freshman Leadership. Just prior to her death, Caitlin had declared social work as her major. This endowed scholarship fund provides assistance to deserving students who are pursuing a major in social work.

Comments: Recipients must be committed to Christian service, work hard, show leadership potential, have been involved in a variety of activities & service initiatives in high school & college, and have great enthusiasm for life, people, & serving the needs of others.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Social Work majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need.
