Scholarship: Marshall & Joan Anderson Schp

Information: The Marshall and Joan Anderson Scholarship Fund in Social Work was established in 2008 by Joan Anderson of Tenaha, Texas.

Joan Anderson received a B.A. degree from Baylor University in 1949. She is a member of Baylor University's Heritage Club and a life member of the Baylor Alumni Association. Joan married Marshall Anderson and had three children: David Anderson (B.B.A. '72), Robert Anderson (B.B. A. '74, J.D. '75), & Mark Anderson (B.B.A. '84).

This endowed scholarship fund assists deserving undergraduates who are pursuing a degree in social work and intend to pursue a ministry vocation in the social work field.

Comments: Students who intend to pursue a ministry vocation in the field of social work.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Social Work majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
