Scholarship: Steve/Beth Jarvie Scholarship

Information: The Steve and Beth Jarvie Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 by Steven M. and Elizabeth R. Jarvie of Plano, Texas in commemoration of their great love for Baylor University.

Steve and Beth both graduated from Baylor University in 1987: Steve with a B.A. degree and Beth with a B.B.A. degree. Steve was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and is a member of the Baylor "B" Association as a four-year letterman in baseball. Beth was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and the Mortar Board National Honor Society as a top scholar in accounting.

This endowed scholarship fund assists deserving students enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business with a preference to students of a Christian faith who have exhibited a commitment to servant leadership and involvement in community service while at Baylor.

Comments: Preference is given to students of a Christian faith who have exhibited a commitment to servant leadership and high involvement in community service while enrolled at Baylor.

Criteria:  For students in the School of Business who are a junior or senior.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
