Scholarship: Virginia S Furrow Grad Schp

Information: The Virginia Sugg Furrow Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1990 by Dr. Virginia Sugg Furrow of Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Furrow received a B.S. degree from Baylor University in 1983 and an M.D. degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1942. She is a charter member of the Old Main Society, a Golden Bear Circle Benefactor of the Endowed Scholarship Society, a member of the Medallion Fellowship, a member of Heritage Club, and a life member of the Baylor Alumni Association.

This endowed scholarship fund assists deserving graduate students who are pursuing a degree through the Texas Baptist Universities Scholars program.

Criteria:  For graduate students.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
