Scholarship: David & Christy Dauphin Schp

Information: The David W. and Christy B. Dauphin Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established in 2009 by David W. Dauphin of Houston, Texas.

David Dauphin graduated from Baylor University in 1971 with a B.B.A. in accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant soon afterward and practiced in Houston, Texas. He was active in the oil and gas industry through Texas. He is a life member of the Baylor Alumni Association. Christy Dauphin graduated from the University of Texas with a B.S. in nursing. The Dauphins are members of the Baylor Bear Foundation.

This endowed scholarship fund assists students who are enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business who are majoring in accounting with a preference to those from Central Texas.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
