Scholarship: Lane/Kaye Collins Scholarship

Information: The Lane and Kaye Collins Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2010 by Lane and Kaye Collins of Waco, Texas.

After serving seven years as an officer in the United States Air Force, Lane Collins attended Baylor University and received a BBA degree in 1970 and an MBA in 1971. He received a DBA degree from the University of Southern California in 1978. He taught at Baylor for 31 years before retiring in 2007 as Professor Emeritus of Accounting. Kaye Collins graduated from the University of North Texas in 1965 with a BS degree and worked as a public school teacher. Lane and Kaye are members of the Bear Foundation and life members of the Baylor Alumni Association.

This endowed scholarship assists students enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business who are majoring in accounting.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on merit.
