Scholarship: Charles Floyd Wells, Jr Schp

Information: The Charles Floyd Wells Jr. Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business was established in 2010 by Geraldine Wells Geisler of Waco, Texas in memory of her brother, Charles Floyd Wells, Jr. Charles “Bud” Wells graduated from Baylor University in 1949 with a B.B.A. degree and in 1957 with an M.S. degree in economics. He served as a professor in the Hankamer School of Business for more than 35 years. Bud was a member of the Heritage Club, an Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity sponsor, and was selected as most popular professor in 1965 and 1974. Geraldine Geisler earned a B.A. degree from Baylor in 1954. She is a member of the Baylor Bear Foundation and the Heritage Club.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Economics majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
