Scholarship: Burke Family Scholarship

Information: The Burke Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established in 2010 by Tyler F. and Stacy DeWall Burke of Dallas, Texas to support Baylor in creating Christian business leaders. Tyler and Stacy hope to help deserving students who aren't able to bear the financial burden of an excellent education alone. It is their hope that the recipients will remember the help they received and return the favor by helping future generations of Baylor students. Tyler graduated from Baylor in 1994 with a B.B.A. and Master of Taxation degrees. Stacy graduated from Baylor in 1991 with a B.S. degree in home economics and in 1998 from Southern Methodist University with a master's degree in speech and language therapy. The Burkes are members of the 1845 Society and life members of the Baylor Alumni Association.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
