Scholarship: Stone Family SW Scholarship

Information: The Stone Family Endowed Scholarship in Global Social Work was established in 2011 by Tom E. and Margaret Stone of Longview, Texas. Tom Stone earned a B.B.A. degree from Baylor University in 1950. He is a member of the Baylor University Heritage Club. He and his wife, Margaret Stone, are members of the Baylor Bear Foundation and life members of the Baylor Alumni Association. They have two children: Tom E. Stone, III and Karoletha Stone (B.M.Ed. '79).

Comments: Recipients must be pursuing a career in global social work with special consideration to leaders training to make life better for orphans, at-risk children and families.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Social Work.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
