Scholarship: Jay & Corby Verdoorn Schp

Information: The Jay and Corby Verdoorn Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2010 by Jay R. and Corby F. Verdoorn of Plano, Texas. Jay Verdoorn earned a B.S. degree and Corby Verdoorn earned a B.S.Ed. degree from the University of Oklahoma. They have two children: Fraley Verdoorn who earned a B.A. degree from Baylor in 2010 and Blake Verdoorn, a student at Trinity Christian Academy in Dallas. Jay and Corby have enjoyed being Baylor parents and have witnessed the profound impact that a Baylor education can have on students’ lives. They understand the value of a Christian education and wish to provide opportunities for future students seeking that experience at Baylor University.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
