Scholarship: Molly Gray Walker Scholarship

Information: The Molly Gray Walker Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 by John B. and Lisa A. Walker of Houston, Texas in honor of their daughter, Molly Gray Walker. John Walker Earned a B.B.A degree with honors from Texas Tech University and an M.B.A. from New York University. He serves as president and CEO of EnerVest, Ltd., and chairman and CEO of EV Energy Partners, L.P. Lisa Walker earned her B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has served as the board of Volunteer Houston and as the lay leader chair of Chapelwood United Methodist Church’s youth program. Their youngest daughter, Molly Gray Walker, entered as a freshman at Baylor University in 2010 as an elementary education major. She is a member of the Freshman Leadership Organization, Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and is involved in intramural sports.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Education.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
