Scholarship: Jane Mears Hall Scholarship

Information: The Jane Mears Hall Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund in Education was established in 2011 by Frederic W. Hall of Junction, Texas in memory of his late wife, Jane Mears Hall. Jane Hall was president of Pi Alpha Lambda her senior year at Baylor University, where she earned a B.A. degree in education in 1962. She was a wife, mother, teacher, and realtor. Ms. Hall passed away on November 29, 1993.

Comments: First preference to students from one of the two smallest tiers of high school classification as determined by UIL

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Education.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
