Scholarship: Donald Weckwerth Scholarship

Information: The Donald A. Weckwerth Endowed Scholarship Fund in Nursing was established by Donald A. Weckwerth of Dallas, Texas. Donald Weckwerth is the past chairman and president of several banks in Texas and other states. He became an Alumni-By-Choice of Baylor University in 2004 and is a member of the Old Main Society. Mr. Weckwerth chose to invest in the Louise Herrington School of Nursing after hearing the testimony of nursing students and how scholarships have made it possible for them to attend Baylor University.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Nursing.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
