Scholarship: Kellie & Scott Fischer Schp

Information: The Kellie and Scott Fischer Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established in 2011 by Kellie L. and Scott W. Fischer of Dallas, Texas. Kellie Fischer earned a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Baylor University in 1995. She served as the controller for the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars until March 2005 when she was appointed CFO of the Texas Rangers and vice president of the team’s parent company. In 2010, Ms. Fischer received the Dallas Business Journal’s COF of the Year Award. Scott Fischer received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of North Texas. He is a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.L.P.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
