Scholarship: Clyde & Majane Martin Schp

Information: The Clyde D. Martin and Majane Martin Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established in 2011 by Jim Wiethorn of Sugar Land, Texas and his children in honor of his wife, Majane Martin and her brother, Clyde D. Martin. Clyde Martin was valedictorian of University High School in Waco, Texas and graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. degree in 1974 and an M.B.A. degree in 1978. He was president of the First National Bank of Central Texas at the time of his untimely death in 2006. Majane Martin was also valedictorian of University High School and graduated from Baylor University in 1976 with a B.B.A. degree. The Wiethorns are members of the 1845 Society and life members of the Baylor Alumni Association. They have six children: Kimberly, Kelli, Elizabeth, Tanner, Rebecca and Breanna.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
