Scholarship: Marion Elizabeth Scott Schp

Information: The Marion Elizabeth Scott Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 by Edward (Eddie) R. Scott, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas in honor of his wife, Marion Elizabeth Scott. Elizabeth Scott earned a B.A. in elementary education from Baylor University in 1962. She taught elementary school in Midland, Jefferson County, Colorado, and Fort Worth. She served in various community organizations including the Junior League, P.E.O sister, P.T.A., United Methodist Women and Friends of the Library. She was a lifetime member of the Baylor Alumni Association. Eddie and Elizabeth have three children: Madison, Jennifer, and Clarissa, and five grandchildren: Hunter, Millie, Brianna, Riley and Davis.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Education.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
