Scholarship: Robert & Dixie Shelton Schp

Information: The Robert S. and Dixie A. Shelton Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established by Robert and Dixie Shelton of Houston, Texas in 2012. Robert Shelton received a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Baylor University in 1955. Robert is a member of the Baylor “B” Association as an athletic letter winner in basketball. Robert and his wife, Dixie, have three children: Stephanie Shelton Sims (B.B.A. ’82), Stephen B. Shelton (B.B.A. ’83), and Shannon Shelton Boccard (B.H.E. ’87). Robert and Dixie are lifetime members of the Baylor Alumni Association. In 2005, the Baylor Alumni Association presented the First Families of Baylor Award, which recognizes multi-generational alumni families that have shown counting interest in and support of Baylor University, to the Shelton family.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need.
