Scholarship: Ruth Powell & Dixie Hogan Schp Information: The Ruth Powell and Dixie Hogan Endowed Scholarship Fund in Nursing was established in 2012 by Boone, Jr. and Peggy Hogan Powell of Dallas, Texas, S. Mark Powell of Austin, Texas, Crystal Powell Colombo of Dallas, Texas and Cari Powell Keleman of Dallas, Texas in honor of their mothers and grandmothers. Ruth Galloway Powell and Dixie Dudney Hogan were registered nurses who worked in the 1930’s at hospitals in Knoxville, Tennessee and Houston, Texas. Their love for nursing endured their entire lives. With thanks to God, this scholarship honors these two wonderful mothers, precious in the sight of the Lord and their families. Comments: Preference to students who might not be able to attend without financial assistance Criteria:
