Scholarship: Godfrey & Viola Sullivan Schp

Information: The Godfrey R. and Viola W. Sullivan Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business was established in 2012 by Godfrey R., Jr. and Suzanne Sullivan of Saratoga, California, in honor of Godfrey’s parents, Godfrey R. and Viola W. Sullivan.

Godfrey R. Sullivan earned the J. D. degree from the Baylor Law School in 1951. Viola W. Sullivan earned the B.A. degree from Baylor University in 1940. She was a member of Tau Beta Sigma while at Baylor. They are members of the Heritage Club at Baylor. The Sullivans have a son, Godfrey R. Sullivan, Jr.

Godfrey R. Sullivan, Jr. earned the B.B.A. degree from Baylor in 1975. He and his wife Suzanne Sullivan are life members of the Baylor Alumni Association. They have two children, Haley Sullivan and Shea Sullivan.

Godfrey Sullivan, Jr. is the president and CEO of Splunk, the leader in operational intelligence software used to monitor, report and analyze real-time machine data driving new insights for IT and business customers.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
