Scholarship: Hershey & Becky Muse Schp

Information: The Hershey and Becky McKnight Muse Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business was established by Hershey and Becky McKnight Muse of Conroe, Texas.

Hershey Muse earned a B.B.A. degree in management from Baylor University in 1972. During his time at Baylor, he was active in Tryon Coterie, or “Try-C,” which is the oldest men’s social club at the university and is now affiliated with the Phi Delta Theta national fraternity. Mr. Muse is a member of the Rotary Club of Conroe and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He was actively involved in the restoration and revitalization of downtown Conroe.

Becky McKnight Muse earned a B.B.A. degree in marketing from Baylor in 1973. As a Baylor student, she was active in the Atheneans, now affiliated with Kappa Kappa Gamma. She remained active in Kappa Kappa Gamma through the Montgomery County Panhellenic Association, where she has served in various capacities.

Mr. and Mrs. Muse are members of the Old Main Society and the Bear Foundation. They are active members of First Baptist Church in Conroe.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
