Scholarship: Mark W Tipton Scholarship

Information: The Mark W. Tipton Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 by Mark W. Tipton of Atlanta, Georgia.

Mark Tipton earned a B.S. degree in 1978 from Tulane University and an M.B.A. degree in 1981 from Baylor University. Mark is chairman and CEO of Georgia Commerce Bank as well as Georgia Commerce Bancshares, Inc. He has served on the board of directors for numerous charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta and the Georgia Tennis Foundation. Mark is married to Diana Orkand Tipton.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the Graduate School.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
