Scholarship: Sealy & Susan Yates Schp

Information: The Sealy M. and Susan L. Yates Global Missions Leadership Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 by Seal and Susan Yates of Santa Ana, California to support the education of global Christian leaders to become catalysts for holistic change in international communities around the world.

Sealy Yates graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. degree in 1965 and from U.C.L.A. School of Law with a J.D. in 1968. Mr. Yates is the senior partner at Yates & Yates and was the first literary agent in the Christian publishing industry. He and his wife, Susan Proctor Yates, have four children and ten grandchildren.

Comments: For students pursing a career in global social work, this fund supports the education of global Christian leaders to become catalysts for holistic change in international communities around the world.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the Graduate School.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on merit.
