Scholarship:	Lynda Copple Scholarship
Information:	The Lynda (Moore) Copple Endowed Scholarship Fund in Education was established in 2014 by Robert D. and Lynda (Moore) Copple of Frisco, Texas. Lynda (Moore) Copple earned a B.S.Ed. degree in 1979 from Baylor University and a M.A. degree education in 1985 from Texas Wesleyan College (now Texas Wesleyan University). Lynda served as a teacher for Arlington ISD for 14 years (1979-1993). Robert D. Copple graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. degree in accounting in 1980 and a M.P.A. degree in 1981 from Baylor University. He is the president and chief operating officer of Cinemark Holdings, Inc. and Cinemark USA, Inc. Robert and Lynda reside in Frisco, Texas, and have two children: Lisa Christine and John Michael.
Criteria:	For Undergraduate students in the School of Education.
Minimum GPA:	The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
Need/Merit:	Based on need and merit.
