Scholarship: Peyton Colleen Martin Schp

Information: The Peyton Colleen Martin Endowed Scholarship Fund in Nursing was established in 2015 by Tom A. and Suzanne Martin of The Woodlands, Texas in honor of their daughter, Peyton Colleen Martin.

Peyton Colleen Martin is a member of the Baylor University Class of 2018, pursuing a B.S.N. degree in nursing through the Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON). From a very young age, she has been interested in medicine, science and helping others. Peyton feels that God has called her to serve others by caring for them and helping them in times of need. Her sister, Megan, has been a great example to her, graduating from Baylor Louise Herrington School of Nursing in May 2014.

Tom A. Martin attended the University of Oklahoma where he received a degree in industrial engineering. He currently owns a real estate development and water utilities company, and enjoys golf and traveling. Suzanne Martin attended Sam Houston State University and studied pre-pharmacy. She has been actively involved with the nursing school, where she has served in various positions of the LHSON Baylor Parents Network and as a member of the LHSON Dean’s Board. Tom and Suzanne are both very grateful for Baylor and Louise Herrington School of Nursing.
