Scholarship: Tanya & Bill Mearse Schp

Information: Tanya and Bill Mearse established this scholarship in 2015 to give Baylor students an opportunity to develop faith-based social work knowledge, skills and experiences to transform lives by demonstrating the grace of Jesus Christ.

As Houston residents, Tanya and Bill know the potential for Baylor's Diana R. Garland School of Social Work to change lives locally and recognize how faith-based social work impacts people around the world through their own international experiences.

Bill is a graduate from Baylor's Hankamer School of Business with a BBA (1978) and MBA (1979) in Management and Marketing. Tanya graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in Elementary Education (1979).

"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the father." (Colossians 3:17)
