Scholarship: Doug & Missy Myers Scholarship

Information: The Doug and Missy Myers Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business was established in 2017 by Michele and Douglas Myers of Chicago, Illinois.

Doug Myers received his B.B.A. degree in finance from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in 1980. He was in Student Foundation and was a charter member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Additionally, he served on Dr. Herbert Reynolds' committee, as PR Chairman, to restructure the Baptist Student Union's Back to School Retreat into what is now Welcome Week. Doug also participated in Leakey Leadership Lab his junior year, and then served as a student leader of the lab his senior year.

Doug currently serves as senior vice president and Chicago market leader for Associated Bank, which is headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Doug has been a member of the Associated Bank team since 2010 and has more than 35 years of banking experience. He has been the leading volunteer in hosting Baylor Business Network events in Chicago. Additionally, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Baylor Line Foundation and is a Life Member.

Michele "Missy" Maan De Kok Myers earned a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin­ Parkside, and a J.D. degree from DePaul University. She is an attorney in Chicago, Illinois. The Myers family includes two children: Thorton Maan de Kok and Meredith "Maisy'' Maan de Kok, a member of the Baylor University class of 2019.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
