Scholarship: Helen Miller Scholarship

Information: The Helen J. Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established by Helen J. Miller of Waco, Texas in loving memory of her parents, Otto and Corine Miller, cousin, Pattie Sherman DeSimone, and uncle and aunt, Karl H. and Estherline Miller Sherman.

Helen earned her B.B.A. in accounting from Baylor University in 1971 and her M.B.A. in 1972. She served 38 years at Baylor as a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Business Law before retiring in 2011. Additionally, Helen served as an academic advisor for both accounting and other business majors. Helen was a loving advisor to Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Society student groups.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Accounting majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
