Scholarship: Caitlin Casteel Scholarship

Information: The Caitlin N. Casteel Endowed Scholarship Fund in Accounting was established in 2017 by Mitchell Casteel and Beth Casteel of Bellaire, Texas, in honor of their daughter, Caitlin.

Caitlin Casteel received her B.B.A. and M.Acc in 2017 from Baylor University. While attending Baylor, she was an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

Beth Casteel earned her B.A. in computer information systems and B.B.A. in accounting from Baylor University in 1986 and 1987 respectively. While attending Baylor, Beth was a student athlete and was a member of the women's volleyball team. She has over 30 years of experience in a variety of finance and controllership roles with ExxonMobil. She is currently assistant treasurer for ExxonMobil Corp. She is also a member of the School of Engineering and Computer Science Board of Advocates and Letterwinner's Association.

Beth is married to Mitchell S. Casteel and they have two children: Caitlin and Carter. Carter is a member of the Baylor University Class of 2019.

Criteria:  For graduate Accounting majors in the School of Business.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on merit.
