Scholarship:	John &Cindy Harmon Scholarship
Information:	The John J. and Lucinda "Cindy" S. Harmon Endowed Scholarship Fund in Nursing was established in 2018 by John J. Harmon of Tulsa, Oklahoma. John and Cindy Harmon are both native Oklahomans. John is a fully licensed respiratory care practitioner with the State of Oklahoma and is currently employed at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which established the "Mother Standard of Care". Cindy retired from her nursing career in 2016 after battling endometrial cancer. She passed to be with Jesus on March 2, 2018. Through Cindy's love for Baylor and realizing the importance and cost of a good education in nursing, her husband John established the John J. and Lucinda "Cindy" S. Harmon Endowed Scholarship Fund in Nursing in 2018, as a lasting tribute in memory and honor of her dedication and passion for nursing, and to assist rural and small-town area students in pursuing this noble profession.
Comments:	For students from rural areas
Criteria:	For Undergraduate students in the School of Nursing.
Minimum GPA:	The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
Need/Merit:	Based on need and merit.
