Each year, the Baylor Alumni Awards are bestowed upon alumni who embody the University’s mission through exceptional public service and significant contributions to local, national, and global communities. Any member of the Baylor Family may submit a nomination. If you know an alum whose contributions and achievements fall into one of the award categories below, tell us their story by completing the nomination form. Please note: Nominees may not currently be voting members of the Baylor University Board of Regents, the Baylor Alumni Board of Advocates, or their spouses.

Nominations for the 2025 Baylor Alumni Awards are being accepted through August 2, 2024. Alumni Award Honorees will be announced in December 2024 and celebrated at the Baylor Alumni Awards Ceremony on February 21, 2025.

Baylor University is accepting nominations for the following 2025 Baylor Alumni Awards:
  • Alumna/us of the Year -- Awarded to a graduate who has achieved distinction through exceptional contributions to our international, national, state or community welfare. Relevant contributions may occur in a single year or over a span of years, preferably extending into the year of nomination.
  • Young Alumna/us of the Year -- Awarded to a graduate under age 40 who has achieved distinction through exceptional contributions to our international, national, state or community welfare. Relevant contributions may occur in a single year or over a span of years, preferably extending into the year of nomination.
  • Pro Texana Medal of Service -- Awarded to a graduate whose contributions in furthering the mission of Baylor University have made an immeasurable impact in the world. His or her impact may be through the public or non-profit sectors.
  • Pro Ecclesia Medal of Service -- Awarded to a graduate whose broad contributions to Christian ministry have made an immeasurable impact.
